Forget the ultrasound. Forget the fact that my clothes are starting to get snug. Forget all of this cravings and other wild symptoms. Forget the positive pregnancy test. Nothing reassures you that you really are pregnant like hearing the baby's heartbeat. I was happy to have my husband and son in the room to hear. My son isn't quite two yet so he didn't really care. But David is more excited.
